AlpacaKeepTo confirm a pregnancy, go to the Breeding hub and open the Pregnancies tab. Find the dam and confirm her mating. Confirming tells AlpacaKeep she is pregnant and starts the count toward her due date.
Steps
- Breeding → Pregnancies. Find the dam whose mating you want to confirm.
- Confirm. Open the confirm pregnancy box.
- Confirmation method. Pick how you confirmed it: Spit-off behaviour, Ultrasound, or Other.
- Confirmation date. Set the date you confirmed. It cannot be in the future.
- Expected due date (optional). AlpacaKeep works out the due date for you from the species' gestation, which is about 11.5 months for an alpaca. You can override it if your vet gave you a different date.
- Save. The record is now marked Pregnant and appears in your gestation watch as she nears term.
