Inside an animal's profile: the six tabs

A quick map of every animal profile: what Overview, Health, Breeding, Fiber, Records, and Finance each hold.

Questo articolo è disponibile solo in inglese per ora. Stiamo traducendo il Centro assistenza - le altre lingue arriveranno a breve.

Open any animal from Animals and you land on its profile. Across the top are six tabs. Each one holds a different part of that animal's life. Here is what lives on each.

The six tabs

  • Overview. The animal at a glance. A Details card with its identity (name, show name, tag, microchip, registration, bloodline), physical traits (species, date of birth, sex, fiber type, color, markings, eye color, height), and origin (where it was bred and when it joined your farm). You also get status pills (like BVDV and, for a pregnant dam, a Pregnant · Day X / Y pill), a Notes card, and buttons to List for sale, Move to paddock, and Mark weaned today for young animals.

  • Health. Everything medical. The single-animal health event log, a withdrawal banner when a medication means the animal isn't safe to sell yet, the weight and body condition (BCS) card, parasite control, quarantine, and the tasks linked to this animal.

  • Breeding. Its family and offspring. The pedigree tree, this animal's own matings (and Record birth for a pregnant dam), and its progeny.

  • Fiber. Its fleece. Lab reports (you can upload the lab PDF and let the app fill in the numbers), shearing history, and the fiber-tracked toggle that turns the testing reminder on or off.

  • Records. All the paperwork in one place. Photos, documents, registrations, shows, paddock movement history, and recent activity.

  • Finance. Money tied to this animal: purchase price, insured value, and cost. Only the Owner and Co-Owner can see this tab. Farmhands and Viewers don't see it at all.

Good to know. Most cards stay tidy and only appear once there's something to show. An empty animal won't bury you in blank boxes.

  • Track weight and body condition (BCS)
  • An animal's status (active, for sale, sold, and more)
  • Identify an animal (tag, microchip, registration, show name)
