Common questions
When will Alpacakeep open to new sign-ups?
When we're confident every core flow has been used in a real barn for long enough that nothing surprising remains. We won't put a date on it because slipping a date publicly is worse than not committing to one. The newsletter is how we'll tell you.
Will the Free tier really stay free?
Yes. The Free tier covering 5 animals and 2 users is part of the product, not a promo. We will never demand payment for records you already entered.
What about the records I have today?
CSV import lands at public launch. We'd rather get it right than ship it half-working. In the meantime, your existing files stay where they are — keep them open in parallel for as long as you need.
Where is my data stored?
On EU servers, under GDPR rules. Right-to-erasure is part of the product. You can export everything to JSON or CSV at any time — leaving is as easy as arriving.
