How will trials work?
When we launch, every farm can try all paid features free for 30 days. The trial begins only when you choose Start free trial from a locked feature or the billing page. No credit card required.
What happens when a trial ends?
You go back to the plan you were on before the trial - Free for most farms. Everything you created stays visible and fully editable. If you're over that plan's animal cap, a banner asks you to upgrade before adding more - but data is never locked or deleted. Trials end gracefully, not as a punishment.
Can I export my data?
Yes, anytime. Settings → Export gives you a CSV download per data set: animals, events, shows, financial entries and fibre results. Your tasks and events also feed straight into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and Outlook, on every plan. Leaving is as easy as arriving.
Does it work without internet?
The app works on any smartphone browser - no app store required. V1 is online-first: if cell signal drops in the barn, submit buttons are disabled and show a "Check connection" message rather than corrupting your data. True offline sync is on the roadmap.
Is my data secure?
Your records are stored on EU-hosted cloud infrastructure rather than one device. We publish the current database-backup setup on our security page, respect your GDPR rights including erasure, and let you export your data at any time.
Do you support farms outside the EU?
Yes. The product works anywhere with internet and is available in English, Italian, and German. Servers are currently EU-hosted, which means a small extra latency for breeders in the Americas or Australia. Other hosting regions may follow when demand justifies them.
Is annual billing the only option?
Both! Annual is the default and saves you roughly 17%. Monthly is available if you'd rather try a tier without committing for a year. The 14-day EU right of withdrawal applies regardless.
What does "Income & expenses (Lite)" on the Free plan mean?
You can record every income and expense, link an entry to an animal, and export everything as a CSV - on every plan, forever. The Farm plan adds the business-grade layer on top: income and expense reports with P&L, receipt attachments, splitting one cost across several animals, and custom categories.
