List an animal for sale

List an animal for sale in AlpacaKeep, set a price and a one-line highlight, and share its sale page.

To put an animal up for sale, open the animal, go to its Overview tab, and press List for sale. Set a price and a short highlight, and the animal gets its own sale page.

Plan. Sale pages need the Farm plan. You can start a 30-day Farm trial from a paywall when you click to list.

Steps

  1. Animals → (open an animal) → Overview. Find the sales card.
  2. List for sale. This opens the listing form.
  3. Sale price. Enter a price, or leave it blank to show Price on request.
  4. Highlight (optional). One line, up to 120 characters. A punchy headline above the description, like "Champion fiber genetics."
  5. Description (optional). Longer text about the animal.
  6. Buyer contact email. The Owner or Co-Owner sets the email where buyer questions go.
  7. Save. The listing goes live and the dialog shows the sale-page link with Copy and View buttons — share it with your buyer right there.

Good to know. The public Marketplace browse, where buyers can search across farms, is coming soon. You do not have to wait for it. You can already share an animal's own sale-page link directly with a buyer today. See Your animal's sale page and its web address.
